Queen Camilla and First Lady Melania Trump Were Stylishly In Sync at White House Meeting
Camilla and Melania Trumps spring fashion at the White House featured floral coatdresses, statement hats, and stunning royal jewels across three elegant events.
Camilla, 78, and Melania, 56, embraced spring dressing for the royals’ White House welcome ceremony April 27 — the queen in a white chiffon Anna Valentine coatdress with floral detailing; the first lady in a butter yellow Adam Lippes skirt suit. Camilla accessorized with Cartier’s ruby, sapphire and diamond Union Jack and Stars and Stripes brooch — a gift from NYC’s mayor to her late mother-in-law in 1957.

On April 28, both women sported pale hues — and statement hats! — for a joint event at the White House tennis pavilion. The queen wore a mint-green coatdress by London-based couture designer Fiona Clare — with Queen Mary’s 18.8-carat heart-shaped diamond Cullinan V brooch — while Melania showcased American designers in a Ralph Lauren pencil skirt and jacket and an Eric Javits straw boater-style topper.

Skipping a tiara for the White House state dinner on April 28, the queen opted for glittering gems in the form of the rarely seen Kent Amethyst Parure, wearing the necklace and earrings — from a collection originally owned by Queen Victoria’s mother — with her hot-pink Fiona Clare gown. The first lady echoed the color palette in a blush strapless architectural Christian Dior Haute Couture gown paired with suede gloves.
