Princess Kate has reportedly taken a break from drinking alcohol.
On Thursday, March 12, the Princess of Wales, 44, visited Fabal Beerhall on London’s Bermondsey Beer Mile, with husband Prince William, and opted not to try any alcoholic beer or cider there, according to Hello!
The outlet reported that the mom of three — who shares Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, with the Prince of Wales, 43 — told owner Hannah Rhodes, “Since my diagnosis I haven’t had much alcohol,” and that “It’s something I have to be a lot more conscious of now.”
Meanwhile, William did participate in a tasting, calling himself a “cider man” according to the outlet.

As Star previously reported, Kate announced in March 2024 that she was diagnosed with an undisclosed form of cancer. In a September 2024 video message, she shared that she had finished chemotherapy, explaining, “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus.”
Kate gave another update in a January 2025 social media post, revealing that she was in remission, calling it a “relief” and noting “I remain focused on recovery.”

A source told Star this past January that Kate is not “pretending she’s invincible, she’s very aware there are limits, and she respects that and is disciplined about sticking to her doctors’ orders.”
As for William, he told Eugene Levy on a September episode of The Reluctant Traveler that 2024 was “the hardest year I’ve ever had.”
