It was a reunion for several members of the royal family when they gathered for the funeral of Katharine, the Duchess of Kent, on September 16 at Westminster Cathedral.
Prince William and his disgraced uncle, Prince Andrew, were both in attendance at the service, alongside King Charles III, Princess Kate, and more. However, the Prince of Wales, 43, appeared to keep the Duke of York at arm’s length during the final procession at the church.
A smiling Andrew, 65, attempted to chat with William on the cathedral’s steps, but William tried to not respond and covered his mouth, according to a video via the Mirror. He then looked like he was mentioning something to the Duke before the latter ceased beaming.

A source noted to the Daily Mail that William looked like he was giving Andrew, who has kept a low profile in recent years due to his affiliation with convicted dead pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, a warning not to laugh at a funeral.
“William is deliberately speaking behind his hand so you can’t see what he is saying in the reprimand. William was clearly aware that the cameras were on them and felt uncomfortable,” the source revealed.
“He [William] is pretty media savvy and would have known it might not be a good look [by Andrew] and also did not want to be seen chatting to his uncle.”
