Prince Harry and King Charles‘ fractured relationship could be moving in a positive direction.

Three of the father-son duo’s senior aides were spotted meeting at the Royal Over-Seas League, a private member’s club in London, in photos published by the Daily Mail on July 12.

The meeting reportedly consisted of Meredith Maines — the chief communications officer for Harry, 40, and his wife Meghan Liam Maguire, who oversees their PR in the UK, and Tobyn Andreae, the director of communications for the King, 76.

Maines, who is based out of Santa Barbara, was in the UK to also meet with the British leg of the Sussex’s team, according to the Daily Mail.

Per her LinkedIn, the Ivy league graduate oversees “all external communications for Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke, and Duchess of Sussex, Archewell Productions, Archewell.org, AsEver.com, their creative projects and business ventures.”

According to a source who spoke with the Daily Mail, this was just the “first step towards reconciliation between Harry and his father, but at least it is a step in the right direction.”

“There’s a long road ahead, but a channel of communication is now open for the first time in years,” the source explained. “There was no formal agenda, just casual drinks. There were things both sides wanted to talk about.”

“Everyone just wants to move on and move forward now,” the source added. “It was finally the right time for the two sides to talk.”

Harry’s rift with his family came to light after he tied the knot with the Suits alum, 43, in 2018. In 2020, the husband-and-wife duo stepped away from their royal duties.

In May, the Duke of Sussex sat down for an interview with the BBC — after losing his appeal in the courts to have police protection in the UK — and opened up about wanting to mend fences.

“Of course, some members of my family will never forgive me for writing a book, of course, they will never forgive me for lots of things,” he remarked, referring to his memoir 2023 Spare. “I would love reconciliation with my family.”

“There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore. Life is precious. I don’t know how much longer my father has,” Harry continued. “He won’t speak to me because of this security stuff. It would be nice to reconcile.”
