Shotgun Wedding? Maria Menounos' Fiance Reveals The Real Reason There's A Rush To The Altar

Keven Undergaro finally popped the question to his long-time girlfriend-turned-fiancée, Maria Manounos.  

"Is this a joke?" the author asked in disbelief as her soon-to-be-hubby got down on one knee during an on air interview on The Howard Stern Show.  

"Although I said that this isn't a proposal, I want to ask you something," Keven started out his speech. "Will you make me the happiest man on earth?"  

"I love you so much and this show's meant so much to both of us. Why not make it official now? Will you honey? Will you accept?" he asked lovingly right before he slipped the engagement ring on his hopeful bride's finger.  

"The last year or two she's been asking, or hinting the last year, 'When are we going to do this?'" Keven told Jenny McCarthy's Sirius XM show after the proposal. "We are trying to have children so it's just the right thing to do and it's the right time."
