Iggy Azalea was performing in Rio de Janeiro last night, December 27, when one of her backup dancers had a seizure. Iggy chose to keep performing her song “Black Widow” instead of stopping to get the dancer assistance. After fans attacked her decision, she lashed out on Instagram. Iggy, 28, quickly took to her Instagram story to explain. “Just want to let everyone asking know my dancer is OKAY!” she wrote. “The lights & heat caused her to have a seizure. She is backstage and feeling much better.”

In a second post, she got defensive. “I thought she had just fallen/twisted her ankle,” Iggy said. “It may sound harsh, but you keep singing until the music stop & ask for a medic which is what I did.”

A little while later, she posted again, explaining how all the negativity had affected her. “Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world,” she wrote. “It feels like anything I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I’m s—t, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don’t matter, or why I’m a horrible person.”

“I’m worn down,” she admitted. “The last four years [have just been] me existing in a world where I can do nothing right and it's hard not to feel like ‘what's the point’ and keep motivated.”
