Heidi Montag and
Spencer Pratt are “re-launching their careers” with a podcast called
Make Speidi Famous Again. The former
The Hills star and newly minted parents debuted their first episode on Tuesday in a self-proclaimed bid to regain their popularity.
“We used to be famous for 15 minutes and were looking for a sixteenth minute,” Spencer confesses.
In the first moments of the show Heidi prompts her husband to explain the meaning behind the name. “It’s actually not a name. It’s a movement. And it’s definitely goals AF,” Spencer says.
“I haven’t felt famous sine 2009. So yeah, I would say I feel very un-famous. That’s why were here re-launching our careers on a podcast!”
As fans may recall, the two couple made a name for themselves in the mid-2000s on the MTV hit series The Hills and the pair later married in 2009 in a televised ceremony that left many asking whether their romance was real, or just for reality TV.
Desperate to stay in the spotlight, Heidi and Spencer appeared on a string of reality shows including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Wife Swap and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars.
The former reality stars recently found their way back into the spotlight after announcing that they were
expecting their first child to Us Weekly and gracing the magazine’s cover in a maternity styled shoot.
