How much did she know? Insiders tell Star that Anna may not have known the full extent of his abuses. "From what Josh told her at the time, Anna believed that one incident took place when he was very young and he immediately regretted it and confessed his sins," the source explains.

"She thought it was merely youthful curiousity that went too far—something any kid in a sheltered and shut-off community might suffer. But now the police report is all over the internet, and she can see it wasn't just one small incident but several—and his youngest alleged victim was only 4! She feels betrayed. He is not the man she thought she married," shared the insider.

No Way Out. Besides Josh Duggar's police report surfacing, now the couple may be forced to leave their Washington, D.C. to be near the Duggar family in Arkansas again. "She feels trapped. If she leaves Josh to stay with her parents for awhile, people will say she's abandoned him," the insider says. "Not that her parents would encourage that. Just like Josh's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, I think they're determined to make Anna act like she has faith in her husband to protect the Duggar family brand."
