Shocking Details About Charlie Sheen’s Physician — Find Out What Unusual Thing They Have In Common

Turns out Dr. Robert Huizenga, who’s been treating Sheen for over 4 years, is far more than just his physician.  

Dr H. (as he is affecitonaly known by his clients), has worked with some of the Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.

Among his many accomplishments, he 63-year-old wrote You're OK, It's Just a Bruise — A Doctor's Sideline Secrets about Pro-Football's Most Outrageous Team, a book-turned-into-movie called Any Given Sunday, based on his experience as the official physician for eight years. He also spent four years as the NFL Physician’s Society’s president and president elect.

Almost as well-known in Hollywood as his celebrity patients, Huizenga is a regular among TV productions, including Extreme Makeover, Work Out, Thinervention, American Gladiators, and Joan and Melissa: Joan Knows Best. He's also served as the physician for NBC’s hit: The Biggest Loser, for 14 seasons.

If that weren’t enough, The Harvard Medical School graduate was also part of the infamous O.J. Simpson trial back in 1995, during which Huizenga took the stand and testified about his medical opinion.

He also seems to have more in common with Sheen than his television appearances on the TODAY Show – apparently they have the same taste in women!

Charlie was married to and shares two kids with former playboy model Denise Richards, and as it turns out, Dr. Huizenga was married to Playboy model Wanda Huizenga.
