Orlando Bloom Arrives Solo in Venice and Mingles with Celebs Amid His Split from Katy Perry

Orlando Bloom has touched down in Venice following his reported split from Katy Perry.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star, 48, was spotted socializing with Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and music mogul Scooter Braun at the luxurious Gritti Palace Hotel, according to photos published by The Daily Mail on Thursday, June 26. The A-listers are all in Italy for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding ceremony, which is set to take place on Friday, June 27.

The Lord of the Rings actor was all smiles as he chatted with the Kardashians stars. He kept his look casual as he donned a black tank top and running shorts, both by Nike, as well as a pair of sneakers. He was also photographed enjoying a walk with Braun, 44.

Bloom’s Italian getaway comes after a source told Us Weekly on Wednesday, June 25, that he and the pop star, 40, “have split but are amicable.”

“It’s not contentious at the moment. Katy is of course upset but is relieved to not have to go through another divorce, as that was the worst time in her life,” the insider explained, referring to her marriage to Russell Brand.

The source shared that the breakup was “a long time coming” because things “have been tense for months.” However, the “Roar” singer is “distracted” and “keeping busy” with her Lifetimes Tour, which commenced in April and will run through December.

Earlier this month, a separate source spoke to the outlet and said there was “tension” between the couple because “Katy has been very busy working, and they are apart often.”

The insider shared that the duo, who had been engaged for six years, “never set a date for the wedding or got around to planning anything and Orlando is ‘over it.’”

Just three days before reports of the split, Bloom was seen in Perth, Australia, with the couple’s 4-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove, while Perry performed there, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

Bloom and Perry began dating in 2016 and were in an on-again, off-again relationship. Bloom proposed on Valentine’s Day in 2019, and the pair then welcomed Daisy in August 2020.

Before her relationship with Bloom, Perry married Brand, 50, in 2010, but the pair divorced in 2012.

As for Bloom, he was previously married to model Miranda Kerr — whom he shares son Flynn, 14 with — from 2010 to 2013.
