Olympic Vaulter Alysha Newman Shows Off Sculpted Abs and Sunny Smile While Training in Miami

Alysha Newman showed off her athletic edge on Thursday, December 11, sharing a pair of sunlit training shots to Instagram from the track in Miami, Florida.

The Canadian pole vaulter and social media favorite, 31, was captured relaxing under the orange canopy beside the lanes, wearing a bright red sports bra and high-waisted black shorts that showed off her toned abs and powerful legs. She paired the sporty look with a beige baseball cap and a relaxed smile, giving off an easygoing vibe between training sessions as sunlight and empty stands framed the calm, focused moment.

In one image, Newman leaned back on the metal bleachers with a confident grin, while another caught her mid-laugh, brushing her hair back beneath the cap. The candid feel of the photos gave fans a glimpse of her relaxed side away from competition, even as her athletic form hinted at her intense discipline.

She captioned the post, “Harder than it looks, kinda like life 💥 But that’s the whole point… you get stronger every time you show up! 😤,” tying the moment to her motivational streak that often runs through her training updates.

Newman, who has represented Canada at multiple international championships, continues to inspire with her mix of grit, positivity and unfiltered behind-the-scenes snapshots.
