Nina Dobrev Shares Free-Spirited Video on 37th Birthday Following Split From Shaun White
Nina Dobrev appears to be feeling good about entering the next year of her life.
On Friday, January 9, the actress turned 37 years old, and marked the occasion with a hilarious video set to Michael Bublé’s cover of “Feeling Good.”
In the video, the Love Hard star sat in front of 30th birthday balloons and a cake, turning her head as someone handed her sunglasses, a tiara and a birthday candle, which she pretended to smoke before putting it in the cake and smiling at the camera.
“4ever & ever 🧛🏻♀️😉,” Dobrev captioned her post, seemingly referring to her role on the hit CW supernatural drama The Vampire Diaries, as Katherine Pierce, a vampire that never ages.
As Star previously reported, Dobrev and Olympian Shaun White called off their engagement after five years together in September. While it is unclear what led to Dobrev and the athlete, 39, calling it quits, a source told Star that same month that “it’s been an unspoken dirty little secret he’s a sucker for a pretty girl.”
Following their split, Dobrev was spotted on a yacht with Zac Efron that month, according to photos obtained by the Daily Mail. A source told Star at the time that “spending time with Zac is the best medicine.”
In November, Dobrev shared a pointed TikTok video. Using Ariana Grande’s song “Break Free” as the audio, she held up her empty ring finger, mouthing the lyrics “Tried to hide it, fake it. I can’t pretend anymore.”
The starlet has been living her best life since — most recently, she celebrated New Year’s Eve in St. Barts on a yacht with other A-listers, including Glen Powell, Michelle Randolph and Miles Teller.
