Nelly Furtado showed off her team spirit in true Toronto fashion on Instagram while sporting full Blue Jays colors.
The Grammy-winning singer and Canadian, 46, shared photos on Sunday, October 26 from a night out at the Rogers Centre — just days after she announced she was taking a break from music in a statement shared on Instagram.
In the shots, Furtado rocked a #27 Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Blue Jays jersey tied at the waist, wide-leg denim cargo jeans and a matching Jays cap. She accessorized the outfit with oversized hoop earrings, a pop of dark red nail polish and a confident grin.
Fans jumped in the comments, with one joking, “I didn’t know that ‘I’m like a bird’ was about a Blue Jay 💙.”
