Miley Cyrus Debuts Bleached Eyebrows at Oscars, Fans Wonder if Other Cosmetic Changes Are at Play

Miley Cyrus surprised fans with her new look at the Oscars on March 2. Dressed in a sexy black Alexander McQueen halter gown, the 32-year-old debuted bleached eyebrows that left her all but unrecognizable.

Sure, it was a daring beauty choice, but some insiders speculated that the “Flowers” singer’s brows weren’t the only change to her face. “What is going on?” wondered designer Chelsea Fairless on her “Every Outfit” podcast March 9. “Because her eyebrows are bleached, and I was, like, is that it? Or did she get work done?” Fearless, who’s wed to Katy Perry’s longtime stylist, Tatiana Waterford, went on to propose that Miley was trying to “distract from cosmetic procedures she had done.”

While the Hannah Montana alum — who grew up in the public eye — has never confirmed she’s had any plastic surgery, that hasn’t stopped experts from sharing their thoughts on what she may have had done. “A lot of Botox,” Dr. Gary Linkov observed, adding, “Her cheeks are sunken in, and that’s possibly because of buccal fat removal.” The NYC-based surgeon also noted her “bowed” top lip and hollowing above her upper eyelids, which could indicate a blepharoplasty!
