Meredith Marks’ $99 Bath Bomb Set Sparks Backlash, Fans Call ‘RHOSLC’ Star ‘Delusional’

Meredith Marks recently launched a limited-edition Disengaging bath bomb gift box set that will set customers back a whopping $99 this holiday season.

“Anyone who knows me knows that I’m obsessed with my baths,” the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star, 53, says in a statement on the website. “For me, they’re meditative, my daily remover of stress, and a little ritual where I can disengage, recharge and reset.”

That’s why Marks created the line of bath bombs. “So I could share this obsession with all of you,” she explains. “It’s not just about relaxing in the tub, it’s about renewal.”

Some would argue, though, that it’s more about the price point.

“I love a bath at least as much as Meredith, maybe even more,” wrote a Reddit user. “I wouldn’t pay that price. For 65$ definitely. But 100$? No.”

“This is absolutely insane,” commented another.

Others suggested the reality star was in need of a reality check.

“She could so easily make these more affordable so her fans could more comfortably support her, but she is so out of touch she can’t comprehend that money is tight for a lot of us these days,” commented one Reddit user.

“We love Meredith but also we are in a recession,” added another.

Cracked a third: “It’s titled Disengaging but it’s really just Delusional.”

There were some fans who noted that at $11 a pop, the bath bombs weren’t all that more expensive than the ones sold by Lush.

Still, “I’ll pick these up for $9.99 at TJ Maxx in a couple months!” quipped another Reddit user.
