British documentarian Louis Theroux explores the manosphere — the very online world where influencers promote hypermasculinity and (often) very crude misogyny.

He shows how people like accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate and lesser-known personas like Harrison Sullivan (a.k.a. HSTikkyTokky) and Myron Gaines are reshaping young men’s ideas about manhood and how that affects everything from relationships to politics. It’s all shocking and a little sickening, but never not fascinating.
