Lori Loughlin Returning to ‘When Calls the Heart’ For First Time Since College Admissions Scandal
Lori Loughlin was the surprise guest at the Hallmark Christmas Experience event where the 61-year-old announced her return to the channel’s When Calls the Heart for season 14. “It feels amazing,” the Full House alum told the crowd, giving props to costar Erin Krakow for “championing” her reinstatement.
The mom of two, who split from husband of 28 years, Mossimo Gianulli, 62, in October also thanked Hallmark “for being so loving and so welcoming.” It wasn’t always so.
In 2019, Hallmark axed her from the wholesome family drama after she pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud to secure her daughters spots at the University of Southern California and spent time in prison. The show did leave the door open, however, sending her character “back East” to care for her sick mother, per Entertainment Weekly.
