Kristen Wiig Jokes That She Should Have Worn a ‘Wig’ and a Turtleneck’ As She Receives Icon Award
Kristen Wiig appeared at the 2025 WIF Honors, held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday, November 6.
The actress and comedian, 52, stepped onto the red carpet in a flowing cream gown. The sleeveless dress featured a loose, floor-length silhouette made of silky, pleated fabric.
Keeping her look minimal yet striking, Wiig accessorized with a chunky gold cuff and a few rings.
Her hair was styled in soft, beachy waves, while her makeup was natural and glowing.
Wiig — who rose to fame on Saturday Night Live before becoming a major force in comedy and film with projects like Bridesmaids and Ghostbusters — was presented with the Icon Award at the ceremony by Palm Royale costar Kaia Gerber.
“I’m myself,” she joked of being nervous to give a speech, per The Hollywood Reporter. “If I had a wig on and like a turtleneck, I could be like, ‘Kristen’s not here tonight,’ but I have to be myself instead.”
