Kroy Biermann has been temporarily granted sole custody of the four kids he shares with ex Kim Zolciak — after airing a truckload of new grievances about his estranged co-parent. The pair have been embroiled in legal battles since he filed for divorce in 2023.
The former NFL player, 40, charged that the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 47, hasn’t seen their children (Kroy Jr., 14, Kash, 13, and twins Kaia and Kane, 12) for weeks and wasn’t even in the country, according to Page Six.

According to the report, he claimed via lawyers that Zolciak had displayed a “blatant mismanagement of basic parenting responsibilities,” and even alleged that one of the children was recently bitten by a dog while under Kim’s care.
The reality star clapped back, insisting her five-week absence was to film two shows “to support my family and make sure my children are cared for — something I will never apologize for.”
According to court documents obtained by TMZ on Friday, April 3, the reality star, 47, has to complete therapy before she’s allowed to see her younger children. The earliest she can regain custody will be on April 13.
But in an Instagram Story posted that same day, Zolciak insisted nothing had changed in her arrangement with Biermann.
“I signed a temporary custody order at the end of January. The order clearly states that both the mother and father are to participate in two counseling sessions per month for two months, followed by one session per month thereafter,” she explained, per Page Six. “I was out of the country from February 26 through March 28 due to contractual filming obligations on two separate productions. During that time, I did not have a single day off, making it impossible to attend the required counseling sessions.”
Zolciak also has two adult daughters, Brielle, 29, and Ariana, 24, who were adopted by Biermann when they wed.
