Keanu Reeves plays Reef Hawk, “America’s favorite movie star,” who’s being blackmailed with a mysterious video that will shatter his good-guy image and end his career if it gets out. His longtime friends (Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer) and his crisis lawyer Ira (Johnah Hill, who also directs) advise him to go and apologize to everyone he’s wronged.

The list is long, from his old manager to his old old pool guy to his mother (a hilariously over-the-top Susan Lucci). A moving meditation on how much we affect those around us, Reeves’ natural charisma makes Hawk’s spiritual journey both touching and funny.
