After her ex-husband (Arvin Kananian) kidnaps their daughter Amina and flees the country, Maureen (Kate Beckinsale) is recruited by Robeson (Scott Eastwood), a child abduction specialist, to help him find other kids; in return, he’ll help her find her own.

When Maureen learns her daughter is in Lebanon, the two head there, but the search becomes increasingly dangerous as they navigate the city’s underworld. Based on a true story, the plot is riveting but it’s Beckinsale’s performance as the devastated mom that makes this a must-watch.
