Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively may have settled their It Ends With Us court battle, but the war of words seems far from over.
“Justin is free to speak on this and tell his side of the story and it’s looking pretty inevitable that he’s going to do that,” a source tells Star, “which is obviously a nightmare scenario for Blake because she won’t have any control over what he shares.”
“Nothing is stopping [Blake] from speaking out either, but the potential damage he could do by creating more drama around her brand is immense,” the source admits. “Just look at the way companies she was partnered with reacted when all this first went down.”

Lively’s attorneys allege that the harm to her image led to the loss of at least $56.2 million in past and future earnings from acting, producing, speaking engagements and endorsements, according to Variety, and that her beauty brand Blake Brown lost $49 million and Betty Buzz/Betty Booze lost $22 million.
“This has already cost her so much money and created so much stress,” says Star‘s source. “The idea of letting him now control the narrative is truly sickening for her.”
The Gossip Girl alum, 38, isn’t done fighting back though, the source notes.
“She’s still going after him in California for legal fees,” reveals the source, adding that she and husband Ryan Reynolds “are confident they will win that, which will be one small mercy at least.”
