Julie Chrisley Defends Husband Todd Amid Ongoing Speculation About His Sexuality: ‘He Knows Who He Is’

The Chrisley family is confronting long-standing rumors about patriarch Todd Chrisley’s sexuality head-on in their new Lifetime docuseries.

Julie Chrisley didn’t mince words when addressing speculation about her husband during the Tuesday, Sept. 2 episode of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality.

“At the end of the day, OK. You can think whatever you want of him because he knows who he is,” she said in response to allegations made by Todd’s former business associate, Mark Braddock, who claimed to have had an affair with the Chrisley Knows Best star. 

Todd, 56, has consistently denied those accusations and reiterated his denial in a pre-pardon prison call featured on the show, noting that Braddock is the “only one” who has made such claims against him.

“It’s important to understand that in the position we’re in,” Todd explained. “Scandal sells.”

Meanwhile, the couple’s daughter Savannah also shared her thoughts. “We were all like, ‘You got to be effing kidding me,’” she recalled during her confessional. “Our lawyer said it best: ‘Where’s the text messages? Where’s the phone calls? Where’s the letters? Where’s anything?’ I don’t buy it.”

Todd’s former assistant Tonya Claytor also defended Todd and Julie’s relationship. “I’m very close with Todd. I’ve traveled with him. I’ve stayed in his house,” she said. “Todd loves Julie. He loves his wife.”

“Todd loves women,” she added.
