Jordan Rodgers is analyzing his brother Aaron Rodgers’ football skills after they reconciled following more than a decade of estrangement.
On the Wednesday, September 23, episode of ESPN’s First Take, TheBachelorette alum, 38, discussed the Pittsburgh Steelers so far this season and shared some thoughts on the 42-year-old quarterback.
“I think if you truly watched Week 1, this was a team that was a few drops and a few drops away from being absolutely explosive like we haven’t seen out of the Steelers in a really long time,” Jordan said. “Rodgers was actually very accurate down the field. The throws that were not completed because of either a non-call or a drop down the field were on the money. Not trying to be a homer.”

“The other aspect that I think is still a feeling-out process, Rodgers and McCarthy are like that ex you ended up getting back together with after a long time,” he continued, referring to head coach Mike McCarthy. “You’re like, ‘Things are better. We’re different people. We’re still trying to figure out those quirks that we had when we were in a relationship.'”
“So I think they’re still trying to feel out who they want to be based on what they both are capable of in this second iteration of their friendship,” Jordan added. “I think that’s gonna take time.”
The former reality TV personality’s comments came after the NFL star appeared on Cam Heyward‘s Not Just Football podcast on Thursday, September 10, and revealed he reunited with Jordan, his older brother Luke, and his parents.
“I went out to Nashville and met with my older brother,” Aaron said on the podcast. “A couple weeks after that, I met with my little brother. It was cool, you know, there was tough conversations for sure.”
“I’m in a much better headspace, and I said it before, but my wife deserves a lot of the credit for that just to be even able to get to that point where I could think about having the conversation,” he confessed. “She was a big part of that, not that she was pushing anything, she wasn’t.”
As Star previously reported, the former Green Bay Packers player spoke about one incident with his family in his docuseries Enigma, which premiered on Netflix in December 2024.
“They go on a [expletive] show and leave two empty chairs [for me],” he said, referring to Jordan’s hometown date with his now-wife, JoJo Fletcher, on The Bachelorette in 2016. “They all agree this was a good thing to do, to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous, his words, not mine, that he ended up winning. But a dinner that was during the season I was never asked to go to. Not that I would’ve gone.”
