What Jordan Rodgers and Wife JoJo Reportedly Think About Aaron Rodgers’ Marriage
Bachelorette alum Jordan Rodgers and wife Joelle “JoJo” Fletcher are not toasting to his brother Aaron Rodgers and his newly minted wife.
Earlier this week, Aaron revealed that he’s been married for “a couple of months” after a reporter pointed out in a press conference that the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, 41, was wearing a wedding ring. (Aaron did not confirm his wife’s identity, however, fans believe it’s likely his girlfriend, Brittani.)
According to The Daily Mail, Aaron — who has had a famously strained relationship with Jordan for years — kept his brother, 36, and Fletcher, 34, completely in the dark.
“This is not a close family unit at all,” a source told the outlet in an article published on Thursday, June 12. “Right now, JoJo and Jordan are getting the news about the marriage from the internet.”
“Jordan and JoJo didn’t go to the wedding and don’t even know anything really about Brittani,” the source revealed. “What they’ve heard is secondhand from his parents.”
Jordan, 36, and Fletcher, 34, who met on season 12 of the Bachelorette in 2016, allegedly still hold resentment that Aaron skipped out on their big day in 2022.
“They are still angry that Aaron didn’t go to their wedding. He didn’t want to be with his brother on the biggest day of his life, so why should they twist themselves up over this wedding?” the source explained.
The public first learned about Aaron’s complicated relationship with Jordan and his family during Fletcher’s season of The Bachelorette.
Aaron later spoke out about the rift in his docuseries Enigma, which premiered on Netflix in December 2024.
On the series, Aaron recalled how Jordan’s hometown date on the ABC dating series — which he claimed he was not invited to attend — shined an unnecessary spotlight on his family’s drama.
“They go on a bulls**t show and leave two empty chairs [for me],” he remarked. “They all agree this was a good thing to do to leave two empty chairs at a stupid dating show that my brother just went on to get famous, his words, not mine, that he ended up winning. But a dinner that was during the season I was never asked to go to. Not that I would’ve gone.”
Despite the hurt feelings, Aaron’s said that he’s open to a reconciliation with his family.
“I don’t want them to fail, to struggle, to have any strife or issues. I don’t wish any ill will on them at all,” he admitted in the docuseries. “It’s like this: We’re just at different steps on the timeline of our own journeys.”
