Jon Bernthal and Tessa Thompson Butt Heads in New Netflix Thriller ‘His & Hers’
“His” is Det. Jack Harper (Jon Bernthal), who’s investigating a murder. “Hers” is Anna (Tessa Thompson), a journalist — and Jack’s estranged wife.
When a body is discovered in a sleepy Georgia town, she takes on the case, even confronting him at a press conference and asking, “Is it true you knew her?” As they become suspicious of each other’s involvement in the crime, this roller coaster of a thriller, based on the 2020 Alice Feeney novel, proves the old adage that there are three sides to every story — his, hers and the truth.
His & Hers | Premieres on Thursday, Jan. 8, on Netflix
