Jennifer Lopez’s Pals Hope She’ll Take Sexy Behavior on Stage ‘Down a Notch’: ‘There Are Boundaries’ (Exclusive) 

Jennifer Lopez has been turning up the heat on stage amid her Up All Night tour, from debuting sensual choreography to getting TMI about her sex life – and according to an insider, her friends and family are hoping that she tones it down.

“She’s determined to be this sex symbol,” an insider exclusively tells Star. “Her friends understand she has her sexy image to uphold, but there are boundaries.”

As Star previously reported, Lopez, 56, teased fans with hints about her sexual preferences during her performance at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy on July 23.

“Sometimes I like it hard… Other days, I am feeling a little romantic. You put on candles and soft music. On those days, I like it real slow,” she said at the time. “But there’s other days… I feel a little more naughty. On those days, I like it real fast.”

According to the insider, “there’s no doubt” that she’s saying those things to “take another swipe at” ex-husband Ben Affleck following their divorce.

The pair tied the knot in a private Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 after rekindling their early 2000s romance more than 15 years later. However, they separated in April 2024 amid rumors that their different approaches to fame and living life in the public eye caused tension in their marriage. Their divorce was finalized this past January.

“Her ego is still bruised, but the way she’s acting and talking is way over the top for everyone around her,” the insider tells Star. “People are telling her to take it down a notch. They’re worried she’s making herself look desperate and embarrassing her family in the process.”

Over the past month, J.Lo has also appeared to take jabs at her failed relationship with Affleck, 52, in new lyrics.

While performing in Spain, Lopez sang about healing from the “scars” left on her “heart” as she escaped the “wreckage” of a relationship.

As for Affleck, a source called her recent on-stage antics “childish,” but clarified that the actor isn’t going to “give it life by reacting” to it or “let it hurt him,” according to the Daily Mail.

“He’s known her long enough and been given a nod on plenty of her music before, so he is more than aware that this was coming,” continued the source. “He knows that this is something she has to do for herself and for her artistry.”
