Jennifer Garner Believes Ben Affleck ‘Is Lonely,’ Has ‘a Vested Interest’ in Him Finding Happiness
There’s friendly exes, and then there’s this: A source tells Star Jennifer Garner, who split from Ben Affleck in 2018 after 13 years of marriage and three kids, is so eager to see him move on after his divorce from Jennifer Lopez that she’s offering to play matchmaker. “She’d like to see him in a stable relationship,” notes the insider. “She’s knows he’s lonely.”
That’s not all that’s motivating her, however. According to the insider, Jen, 53, is concerned that her ex, also 53, will try to get back together with J.Lo for a third time (prior to their 2022 marriage, he and the singer, 56, were engaged in the early 2000s).
“Jen wants him to find someone more down-to-earth.” After all, adds the insider, “Ben will always be family and will be in her life forever, so she has a vested interest in seeing him with someone she likes.” Now, adds the source, “It’s just a matter of getting him to agree to let her set him up.”
