Jennifer Aniston took things slow with Jim Curtis before the two became a couple earlier this year.
The Morning Show star — whose last major public relationship was her marriage to Justin Theroux, which ended in 2018 — “spent months” getting to know Curtis before fully letting him into her life, a source told People.
“Jen really valued their friendship in the beginning of the year,” the source said. “When it all took a turn to something more romantic, she was cautious at first.”
After easing in, Aniston now looks back and is “excited that she just went for it,” the source added, noting that her new romance with Curtis “feels like kismet.”
“He’s brought so many good things into her life,” the insider said.

The Friends alum, 56, went Instagram official with Curtis in early November, calling the 50-year-old hypnotist her “love.” Days later, they made their red carpet debut at Elle’s 2025 Women in Hollywood celebration and also opened up about the qualities she loves about Curtis in an interview at the time.
“He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,” Aniston told Elle. “He’s very special, very normal and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity.”

As Star readers know, Aniston isn’t just standing by her new beau’s career. She’s cheering him on to embrace the spotlight.
“In her eyes, why shouldn’t Jim be able to use the massive fame boost their relationship has provided?” a source toldStarearlier this month. “It’s a crazy situation for Jim to be in after building himself and his practice up for the last 15 years.”
“Jen is encouraging him to dream big. Not that she’s trying to turn him into the next Dr. Phil or anything like that, but she openly wants him to make money,” the source added.
