Jamie Lynn Spears Celebrates Daughter’s Achievement After Maddie Shares How She ‘Came Back to Life’
Jamie Lynn Spears celebrated a major milestone on Thursday, November 14, posting a proud carousel of photos to Instagram as her daughter Maddie officially signed with Southern Miss for softball.
The Zoey 101 alum, 34, gave followers a peek into the special moment, snapping a beaming selfie as Maddie stood behind her, flashing a playful kissy face. Both sported Southern Miss gear, radiating team spirit and mother-daughter pride.
Another snap captured Spears in full cheer mode, grinning in the black-and-gold tee beside her daughter at the signing table.
Maddie held up a tiny school portrait from her younger years, taken around the time of the 2017 ATV accident that nearly killed her.
“I did have an accident,” the 17-year-old said in an August YouTube video, adding that she’s been “injury-prone” her entire life. “I was in a coma, and I came back to life, and I’m very blessed.”
The post was simply captioned, “✨🖤 made it official 🖤✨,” letting the photos do the talking.
