Jake Paul lasted six rounds during his fight against former unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua on Friday, December 19, but ultimately the YouTuber lost—and ended up in the hospital with a broken jaw.
Joshua, 36, and Paul, 28, faced off at the Kaseya Center in Miami, and were scheduled to fight for eight rounds, per People. But the British Olympic gold medalist delivered a knockout blow to the former Vine star during round six.
After the match, Paul shared updates with fans on his Instagram account. First he posted a graphic video taken while he was still in the ring, showing his mouth full of blood and his teeth clearly misaligned. Later, he shared a video of himself in a hospital bed, his older brother Logan Paul by his side, with the caption, “broken jaw guys thanks for all the support I’m ok.”
