Sandra Bullock is getting by with a little help from her friends.

After taking time off from Hollywood to grieve the death of longtime partner Bryan Randall, who lost his secret three-year battle with ALS in 2023, the Oscar-winning actress, 61, is headed back to the big screen with A-list pals Nicole Kidman and Keanu Reeves.

She also recently signed on to star in a new film that will reunite her with The Lost City writer Dana Fox, per Deadline.

“Sandra is in the midst of mounting yet another comeback after years focused on her family,” a source says of the single mother of two. “She still has that golden touch when it comes to picking projects, but this time around, she’s actually collaborating with and leaning on her peers.”

Bullock and Kidman, 58, are reprising their roles as the Owens sisters in the long-awaited Practical Magic sequel, which is scheduled to hit theaters later this year.

“We’re just having the best time together,” the Aussie actress gushed to People before filming wrapped in September.

Fans have also been clamoring to see Bullock team up with Reeves, 61, again — a wish that was finally granted in May.

As Star previously reported, the former Speed costars are pairing up for a romantic thriller from screenwriter Noah Oppenheim that he promised “puts the two of them together in a way that captures the unique and exceptional chemistry that people love when they share the screen.”

Bullock has taken a hiatus from Hollywood before, notes Star’s source, and “been able to roar right back to the top of the box office.”

This time should be no different.

“She makes it look easy, but it’s all the product of hard work and Sandra’s famous, crystal-clear judgement of her own abilities and of the marketplace,” says the source.

“She loves reading scripts and having long conversations about where she can fit into them,” the source adds. “She’s proud of herself that she’s good at that.”
