Hoda Kotb Confesses She Hasn’t Watched ‘Jenna & Friends’ Nearly 8 Months After Leaving ‘Today’

Hoda Kotb recently made a candid admission.

On Tuesday, September 9, the former Today host, 61, joined her old co-hosts from the network — Jenna Bush Hager, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Carson Daly and Al Roker — to share some life updates. However, she also ended up spilling some truth.

Kotb, who famously hosted Today with Hoda and Jenna from 2019 until January 10, 2025, asked Bush Hager, 43, how her replacement show, Today with Jenna and Friends, was going.

“It’s going good,” Bush Hager responded.

“You look really, it’s been going really really well,” Kotb remarked.

“Thank you. You pretend you’ve been watching,” Bush Hager quipped.

“I haven’t. I haven’t,” the former Dateline host laughed. “But I hear it’s amazing! But you guys have been doing so, so well. It’s been fun to watch.”

While the journalist confessed she hasn’t been tuning into Bush Hager’s show lately, that wasn’t always the case. When Kotb appeared on the program in May, she said she was an avid viewer.

“Can I just say before we start that Jenna Bush Hager, you have been literally crushing it since January 12 or whenever my last day is,” she gushed. “I’ve been watching you every single day. You’ve been incredible, so I hope you’re proud of yourself.”
