Harry Styles had a rock tune on when he made love for the first time.
On Thursday, May 21, the pop star, 32, introduced Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke at the 2026 Ivor Novello Awards — an award ceremony for songwriting and composition — in London and shared an intimate detail regarding the band’s ’90s track “Talk Show Host.”
“It’s always nerve-wracking stepping onto a stage, but to know that a man I’ve spent so much of my life listening to is now listening to me talk to you about him is a truly terrifying honor,” Styles remarked, according to an E! Newsarticle published on Friday, May 22.

“I lost my virginity to ‘Talk Show Host,'” he said, before prompting the crowd to erupt into laughter, per the outlet, by adding: “I lost my virginity to the intro of ‘Talk Show Host.'”
The intro to the song lasts about 10 seconds, before Yorke, 57, sings “I want to be someone else, or I’ll explode.”
“Thom’s work is music that is felt. It’s always been somewhat of a religious experience to me,” the former One Direction band member further noted in his speech. “Religious in the sense that understanding seemed to go both ways.”
As Star previously reported, a source told Page Sixin April that the couple — who sparked dating rumors in August 2025 — is engaged after the Big Little Lies actress, 37, was spotted with a diamond ring on her finger while walking with the musician in London.
The source said Styles “is completely smitten” with Kravitz and that she “is on cloud nine.”
