Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple are discussing their future living arrangements.
On Monday, February 16, the couple — who fell in love and got engaged on the first season of The Golden Bachelorette — posted a joint Instagram reel answering questions from fans, including one about whether they have “plans to live in the same city.”
“At some point we do… absolutely,” Chapple, who lives in Kansas, answered, to which Vassos, who resides in Maryland, agreed: “One day we will, we haven’t figured out the city yet.”

“We’re so busy, I got a business, Joan does her thing, but then we’re traveling all the time, so it’s gonna come,” Chapple, 62, explained.
“When I think about this question, I think it probably won’t be where I live. It probably won’t be where you live, [Chock],” she noted. “I think we will probably keep our houses… we’ll have a love shack someplace.”
Additionally, Chapple shared that he and Vassos are figuring out what works for them and predicts his future wife may enjoy the Sunshine State.

“The crazy thing is the more we travel, the more we go ‘hey we like this,’ and Joan’s going to Florida in a couple weeks, and I’ve had two homes in Florida, and I know she’s gonna come home and go ‘we gotta have a place there’ but Florida’s big you gotta find the right place, the right location,” he remarked.
Regardless of the distance, Chapple said he and Vassos don’t let it get to them as they “talk every day” and “see each other a lot.”
“We kind of meet up in other places, so it’s actually been really fun doing it the way we’re doing it,” Vassos, who noted that she and Chapple were in Punta Cana while filming the Q&A, added. “I don’t think we’re ready to stop that yet. The long distance actually makes getting together really fun.”
