George Clooney Doubles Down on His Claim That He and ‘Incredible’ Wife Amal Have Never Argued
Conflict-free and staying that way. George Clooney doubled down on his claim that he and Amal Clooney, his wife of more than a decade, never argue.
The Jay Kelly star, 64, insisted in an interview with the Los Angeles Times that getting hitched at the advanced age of 52 made him “more secure” and less prone to “aggression” than men who marry younger. “I’m in a much different place in life,” he said, explaining that he’s “less in the mood to win arguments” than in his youth. “When you’re young, you’re trying to win everything.”
The Oscar winner went on to say his respect for the human rights attorney and mom to twins Ella and Alexander, 8, inspires him to align with the 47-year-old on most things, from the importance of marriage and kids, to his retirement from riding motorcycles: “Everything changed because I met this incredible person.”
