Following a controversial final season — and amid rumors of a feud between stars Sydney Sweeney and Zendaya — HBO’s raunchy Euphoria has been making headlines. Now, an insider tells Star that the series creator Sam Levinson is contemplating a fourth season. “There’s a bit of a shock around how much discussion and debate the show is garnering,” says the insider. “The discussion is already taking place about how to keep things going.”

One obvious roadblock: Whether or not Sydney and Zendaya get along, they, along with costars Jacob Elordi and Colman Domingo, have become certified stars since the show debuted in 2019. “Season 3 had to get very creative about Jacob, Zendaya and Sydney’s schedules,” notes the insider. “It took a full eight months to get all the episodes filmed.” Not only that, but the stars can now demand hefty paychecks to come back to the show. “The actors’ reps are very focused on money and making their clients more famous,” adds the insider. “At this point, Euphoria is hardly the best payday any of them can get.”

As for the so-called feud — which some have said was the result of Sydney’s flirty behavior with Zendaya’s fiancé, Tom Holland — the insider says it’s less of a problem than some might believe. “Sydney and Zendaya are both total pros,” says the source. “There was never a question anything would get in the way of them doing their jobs.”
Still, Levinson won’t be making any announcements just yet, says the insider. “Sam isn’t going to publicly declare he has more story to tell until he has signed contracts in his hands.”
