Erin Andrews Weighs In on Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson Romance

Erin Andrews is weighing in on one of the NFL’s most talked about couples — Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson.

The 47-year-old sportscaster co-anchored the Monday, May 12, episode of Jenna Bush Hager’s morning show Today with Jenna & Friends. Andrews and the 43-year-old TV personality talked about how Belichick, 73, attended the Miss Maine USA pageant in Portland over the weekend to support Hudson, 24, who was a contestant. She placed third in the competition.

The sideline reporter then revealed that she had asked Tom Brady his thoughts on the relationship.

“He was front row. I gotta say, so you know, people have asked a lot, and I work with Tom Brady, so I’ve been asking him a lot, ‘What do you think about this?’ Because he knows coach as a coach, and I know coach from being on the sidelines,” the former Dancing with the Stars host explained.

“Look, Bill Belichick is royalty, he’s a legend, he’s it, he’s the Mount Rushmore, and I know how he is on the field. He’s very matter-of-fact. You get two seconds to talk to him,” Andrews continued. “I am full-blown stomach cramps when I get ready to talk to him because I don’t want to mess up. And I kind of get excited, and I start doing what I’m doing now and talking too much.”

While the Calm Down With Erin and Charissa podcast host did not explicitly mention Brady’s opinion, she noted that she and the rest of the world are seeing a new side of the former New England Patriots head coach. She also said that “Jordon’s got the congeniality points” if she has Belichick “showing up front row” to support her.

Belichick and Hudson made headlines last month after a viral CBS Sunday Morning interview.

In the interview, journalist Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how the couple met, and Hudson interjected off-camera, “We’re not talking about this.”

The couple reportedly met in 2021 on an airplane.

Additionally, there were reports that Hudson was not allowed at the UNC football facilities — a rumor the school has since dispelled.

“While Jordon Hudson is not an employee at the University or Carolina Athletics, she is welcome to the Carolina Football facilities,” the school said in a statement, according to ESPN. “Jordon will continue to manage all activities related to Coach Belichick’s personal brand outside of his responsibilities for Carolina Football and the University.”

Before his relationship with Hudson, Belichick married his college sweetheart Debby Clarke in 1977 and divorced her in 2006. The couple share three children.
