Emma Thompson and Judy Greer Star in Spine-Chilling Thriller ‘The Dead of Winter’
Barb (Emma Thompson) stops by a lonely cabin in a remote, snowbound area of Minnesota to ask for directions to a nearby lake where she wants to scatter her late husband’s ashes. But she discovers a teenage girl (Laurel Marsden) is being held captive by the residents, (Marc Menchaca) and his fentanyl freak wife (Judy Greer).
Like a civilian version of Fargo’s Marge Gunderson, Barb, her resolve steeled by decades of hard experience, is determined to save the girl, even if it means risking her life. The icy, isolated locale makes this thriller even more spine-chilling.
