Elsie Hewitt Predicted Pete Davidson Would Be the Father of Her Children On Their First Date

He really had her at hello!

Pregnant actress Elsie Hewitt is opening up about the moment she realized boyfriend Pete Davidson was the one — long before the baby registries and sonograms.

Hewitt, 29, revealed to People that she instantly knew the Saturday Night Live alum, 32, would be the future father of her children during their first date.

“I was like, ‘Okay, don’t think I’m crazy, but I just know you’re going to be the father of my children,’” Hewitt recalled to the outlet. “And he was like, ‘Yeah.’”

The couple — who announced they were expecting in July — have been settling into parent-to-be life with surprising ease, and they were recently photographed lugging around a giant pregnancy pillow around NYC.

Hewitt also told the outlet that she and the Bodies Bodies Bodies actor are determined not to place their own childhood voids onto their baby, but instead focus on giving their little one “the love and the family vibe that we don’t feel like we had” while growing up.

“I could not ask for a better father for my child,” she added. “I’m so happy it’s him.”

In October, an insider also told Star the duo are destined to be great parents. “Pete’s been wanting to have a kid for a long while now, and now his dream is coming true,” the insider revealed. “He and Elsie are a perfect pair. They get along so well.”
