Elizabeth Banks Delivers Major Laughs and Drama in ‘The Miniature Wife’
Matthew Macfadyen plays Lee, a scientist who accidentally shrinks his prize-winning novelist wife, Lindy (Elizabeth Banks), when an experiment goes wrong.
While this series has many hilarious moments — like when six-inch-tall Lindy is forced to live in a dollhouse or almost gets killed by a Roomba — the story tackles serious themes as well — i.e., Honey, I Shrunk You and I Kind of Like the New Power Dynamic. Miniature Lindy’s struggle to reset their marriage delivers both major laughs and major drama.
