‘Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out’ To Premiere On Lifetime On April 21

Lifetime has announced that “Dr. Pimple Popper: Breaking Out,” a new series featuring Dr. Sandra Lee, the worlds most well-known dermatologist, will debut Monday, April 21.

Dr. Lee, a board-certified dermatologist based in Southern California, became a global sensation in 2015 when she began sharing dermatology content online as Dr. Pimple Popper. What started as an educational window into her world soon became a viral phenomenon, with millions of viewers fascinated by her work treating cysts, lipomas, keloids, and other dermatological conditions.

In the new series, Dr. Lee will welcome a group of protégés into her operating room, mentoring the next generation of dermatologists as they tackle complex and life-altering skin conditions. The series will also provide an intimate glimpse into Dr. Lees personal life, with self-shot footage capturing her world outside of the office.

“I cannot wait to share with the Lifetime audience the transformations of some of my patients and their journey before, during, and after their procedures,” Dr. Lee said in a statement. “Additionally, I cant wait for people to meet some of the new doctors who will be joining me as we help people throughout this season.”
