Denise Richards’ Husband Aaron Phypers Files for Divorce After Nearly 7 Years of Marriage

Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers have called it quits.

The businessman, 52, filed for divorce from the Wild Things actress, 54, on Monday, July 7, due to “irreconcilable differences,” according to court documents obtained by TMZ. He listed their separation date as Friday, July 4.

Phypers claimed to have no personal income and asked for spousal support from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, claiming that she made around $250,000 per month. This reportedly includes income from her television appearances, various brand deals and her lucrative OnlyFans account, which she started in June 2022.

He is also requesting that the court grant him his 2018 Indian Dark Horse motorcycle, a Ford Shelby GT500 and other items he claimed as his personal property.

Additionally, Phypers — who was previously married to Nicollette Sheridan — detailed their pricey cost of living, estimating that they spend roughly $105,000 every month. He claimed that $15,000 is spent monthly on entertainment activities, another $15,000 is spent on going out to eat, and he also noted that they shell out around $10,000 per month on groceries. Phypers listed their monthly rent as $18,000, with another $8,000 going to utilities.

Richards and Phypers said “I Do” in 2018 in an intimate wedding that was documented on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. While they welcomed no children together during their marriage, the reality star did confirm her husband was legally adopting her own adopted daughter, Eloise Joni Richards, 14, back in 2019, per People.

Denise also shares daughters Sami Sheen, 21, and Lola Sheen, 20, with ex Charlie Sheen.

While details on the reasons behind their split have not yet been made public, the exes sparked rumors of tension in their relationship as far back as 2020 — particularly following a concerning interaction on season 10 of RHOBH. In one episode, the pair stormed away from an uncomfortable conversation during a party held at Kyle Richards‘  home.

As they left the gathering, Denise warned Phypers, “Don’t say a word. We’re on camera,” to which he responded, “Don’t tell me what to say. I’m going to crush your f**king hand. Stop it.”

That same season, Phypers also went on a bizarre tangent at a dinner party and suggested that he had been “followed” by people due to his profession, which he hinted had to do with “alternative medicine.”

“Everything you’ve been taught about how diseases process and stuff works is not true,” he said, then added, “I have to be careful.”
