A year after the awards-season success of her body-horror film The Substance — which included her first Oscar nod and a Golden Globe win — Demi is heading back to the big screen with another buzzy movie.

Neon Films’ I Love Boosters, out May 22, follows a group of stylish shoplifters who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven, played by Demi sporting a new look — a short, blonde bob. Costars include Keke Palmer, Will Poulter, Don Cheadle, LaKeith Stanfield and Eiza González.
The trailer debuted while Demi, back to her trademark long, black tresses, attended Paris Fashion Week events in late January. Days earlier, her hit TV show, Landman, wrapped its second season. In November, the sexagenarian grandmother marveled at her unexpectedly “great, fun year,” telling late-night host Stephen Colbert, “I just feel like this is an amazing time, and anybody who thinks that getting older means life is less is sadly mistaken.”
