Chase Chrisley is casting doubt on whether his parents, Todd and Julie Chrisley, will return to reality TV following their release from prison.

Chase, 28, sat down for an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Thursday, May 29, and revealed that his parents will most likely not be a part of the Lifetime docuseries following him, Savannah Chrisley, Grayson Chrisley, Chloe Chrisley and Nanny Faye Chrisley.

When asked if his parents — who starred in Chrisley Knows Best — would be part of the project, he responded, “I don’t think so, no.”

Chase added that it’s not a given that Todd, 56, or Julie, 52, would return to reality TV in any capacity.

“It’s too early to tell,” he admitted. “We’ll have to have a family conversation about that.”

As for whether fans will see the husband-and-wife duo reunite onscreen after leaving prison, Chase answered, “Maybe.”

“You know how television works,” he explained. “My parents were inside when we started filming and negotiating, so there’s no deal in place for my parents as of right now.”

However, viewers will get to see the phone calls Chase and his siblings had with their parents while they were behind bars.

“You guys will see it. And it’s just been raw reality and truth of like the struggles that we’ve been going through as a family, as individuals and how to navigate that while still staying together and holding our family together,” Chase shared. “Thankfully, now we’ve got my mom and dad back, so it just feels like a thousand-pound weight has been lifted off my shoulders.”

Chase added that the world doesn’t have the “full story” behind his parent’s situation and they would “hear more” on the upcoming show.

“But from my mom and dad’s perspective, I don’t know when,” he clarified. “I’m sure it won’t be long.”

President Donald Trump granted Todd and Julie full pardons on Tuesday, May 27. The couple were both convicted of tax evasion and bank fraud in 2022.

In a statement to Star on Tuesday, Chase shared, “I am grateful to God and extremely grateful to President Trump and his entire administration. I’m beyond thankful to finally have my parents back home and my family together again!”
