Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband Sam Asghari Hints at Engagement Amid Ongoing Fears for Singer’s Well-Being

Sam Asghari may be walking down the aisle again.

On Wednesday, September 17, the Traitors alum, 31 — who was married to Britney Spears from 2022 to 2024 — and his girlfriend, Brooke Irvine, were out and about in West Hollywood and shared some insight with TMZ about their relationship.

When asked if everything was good between the pair — who went Instagram official on New Year’s Day — the actor answered, “Amazing.”

As for whether an engagement was in their future, Asghari said “maybe,” and Irvine laughed.

TMZ further asked if they had “any conversations” about the topic, to which Asghari replied, “Yeah, yeah, life is about just living and experiencing, and enjoying.”

Asghari also addressed Spears, 43, calling their union a “fake distraction,” in an August Instagram post.

“I think it’s a good thing to be distracting,” he quipped. ‘I think it’s a compliment to be distracting.”

As Star previously reported, fans and friends have been worried about the pop star after she posted a video on Instagram in August of her home that seemingly showed excrement on the floor, according to Globe.

Earlier this month, a source told the Daily Mail the “Circus” singer is “not doing well at all” and that her loved ones are “terrified for her future.”

As for her dating life, another insider told the Daily Mail in an article published on Wednesday, September 10, that Spears has met up with men she met online.

“Britney has responded to people on social media, but rarely,” the source told the outlet. “It takes a certain type of guy to slide into her DMs, and of course she gets a lot of them and I don’t think she responds often, but I know it has happened.She’s attracted to confidence, and it takes a confident man to decide that he’s going to message her and start chatting.”
