Britney Spears’ Ex Kevin Federline ‘Not Too Worried’ About What Sam Asghari ‘Thinks’ After Book Diss

A month after Sam Asghari dubbed him a “professional father,” Kevin Federline is embracing the title!

“I’m not too worried about what Sam thinks, but I do love the tagline ‘professional father,’” Federline told a photographer in response to a diss made by Britney Spears’ third husband, Page Six reported.

Asghari, 31 — who was married to Spears, 43, from 2022 to 2024 — first slammed Federline last month amid news the former backup dancer was releasing a memoir.

“Well, he was a professional father,” Asghari quipped when asked about the book in a clip posted by TMZ on August 16. “It would be the first book that’ll tell you how to be a professional father.”

“I think every father should strive to be a professional father,” Federline added.

Federline, 47, is dad to daughter Kori, 23, and son Kaleb, 21, with ex Shar Jackson, Sean Preston, who turns 20 on September 14, and Jayden James, 19, with Spears, and daughters Jordan, 14, and Peyton, 11, with his current wife Victoria Prince.

Federline is releasing a memoir, You Thought You Knew, in October, about his career and tumultuous marriage to Spears from 2004 to 2007. After their split, he was granted sole custody of their sons and has worked sporadically as a DJ.

He reportedly earned up to $40,000 a month in child support from Spears while the boys were minors. He moved with them to Hawaii in 2023.

As Star previously reported, Spears has recently been reconnecting with her sons following a period of estrangement. On August 24, the former pop star took to Instagram to reflect on that painful time while also discussing her marriage to Asghari.

“We’re just people so fragile and human the hardest years of my life were my two sons gone for those 3 years,” she wrote. “I was cut off from calling or texting and I remember in shock my secret to survival was denial and a lot of tears its weird me and Sam were married but it almost felt like a fake distraction to help me deal with it.”

“Our marriage was very real to me. It may have been short, but we were together for seven years,” Asghari responded in a statement, via People. “I was in love with her, will always have love for her, and wish her the best always.”
