It’s been 20 years since Alias went off the air, but former costars Jennifer Garner and Bradley Cooper still share an unbreakable bond, a source tells Star.
“One trait of his that Bradley is most proud of, and rightfully so, is his sense of loyalty to the costars that helped him get to the top of the A-list in the first place,” says the source. “Jennifer is at the very top of that list because of the formative experience they had together on Alias.”
The hit spy thriller series, which ran from 2001 to 2006, “changed both of their lives for the better,” notes the source, adding that Cooper, 51, and Garner, 54, “still talk all the time about finding opportunities to work together again.”

However, “the priority has actually been to keep the friendship alive,” says the source, and one way to do that is to get together with their respective partners.
“Bradley has personally gotten to know John over the past few years and he just loves the guy,” the source reveals. “Would Bradley prefer that Gigi and Jen had a closer friendship? Of course, but … that hasn’t happened yet.”
It’s only because of the distance though, notes the source, with Cooper and Hadid, 31, based in New York and rarely visiting California — where Garner and Miller, 48, live — together as a couple.
“If Bradley has his way, Jen and Gigi will get there, eventually and organically,” says the source. “Bradley has learned a lot from his friendship with Jen and he desperately wants Gigi to have that same opportunity!”
