Jennifer Garner’s Boyfriend John Miller ‘Deeply Respectful’ of Her Coparenting ‘Dynamic’ With Ben Affleck

Jennifer Garner and John Miller are still going strong — and their commitment to maintaining quality coparenting relationships is part of what makes their romance work.

The happy couple – who have been dating on and off since 2018 – are doing “better than ever,” a source told People, noting that the businessman, 47, has “embraced” the Elektra star’s “family life.”

Garner, 53, shares three kids – Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 13 – with ex-husband Ben Affleck, 52. They said “I do” in 2005, but confirmed their split 10 years later in 2015.

Their divorce was finalized in 2018 and the exes have sought to nurture a healthy coparenting dynamic over the past seven years, which includes going on family outings and sharing supportive posts on social media.

On Father’s Day, Garner posted a sweet tribute to Affleck on her Instagram Story with a photo of him holding one of their children as a baby. They were also spotted watching a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park with their kids on July 11.

As for Miller, he’s been “patient, supportive and deeply respectful of her dynamic with Ben and the kids.”

The happy couple has “hit a stride,” according to the source, and “those who know them say this is the most solid and connected they’ve ever been.”

Garner and Miller first sparked dating rumors in 2018. Although they parted ways at one point in 2019, the pair was able to rekindle their relationship in 2021 and have been together ever since.

“He’s also a co-parent and understands her priority,” an insider told People of the Alias alum and the CEO. “Their relationship is fun and easy-going. She’s very happy.”

As the mother of three basks in the glow of her romance with Miller, Affleck is on the heels of his divorce from his second wife, Jennifer Lopez. After ending their early 2000s relationship more than 15 years prior, the “On the Floor” singer and the Air actor reconnected in 2021 and tied the knot in 2022. However, less than two years later, it was confirmed that they’d separated. Their divorce was finalized in January.

Following their split, a source told In Touch that Affleck had been leaning on Garner for support.

“He’s got his own place but he’s still at her house all the time for family dinners and she never fails to send him home with a care package of food,” the source said. “He loves being looked after by her. He goes to her whenever he has a big career or life decision to make for her advice.”
