Blake Lively Fuels Speculation of Taylor Swift Feud After Staying Silent On Travis Kelce Engagement

Taylor Swift’s one-time bestie Blake Lively continued to fuel feud rumors after keeping quiet following the “So High School” singer’s engagement to Travis Kelce.

Swift, 35, broke the internet when she shared the exciting news via Instagram on Tuesday, August 26, one day after Lively’s 38th birthday. While the post broke records for the number of likes and reshares, one person was notably missing from the comments: Lively.

Fans were quick to take note of the Gossip Girl alum’s lack of engagement on her best friend’s post. Despite her decision not to like or comment on Swift’s post, Lively reshared multiple birthday wishes to her own Instagram Story that same day.

While neither Lively nor Swift have publicly commented on their rumored falling out, the two seem to have distanced themselves from each other following the It Ends With Us actress’s lawsuit with costar Justin Baldoni.

Baldoni, 41, alleged in his court filing that Swift was involved in a meeting at Lively’s NYC home regarding the film. According to Page Six, Swift couldn’t “help but feel used” by Lively,

The Jane the Virgin alum initially subpoenaed the Grammy winner in the lawsuit, but eventually dropped it.

Lively and Swift have not been spotted out together since October 2024. Despite their friendship seemingly coming to an end, Swift is the godmother to three of Lively’s children with husband Ryan Reynolds.
